I know I don't post too regularly but I do have something new for you! It's an alpha mask. I have been toying with making masks and I love using alphas so I put the two together and voila! I hope you like it. For photoshop CS users it's one easy step to clip any paper in your kit or even a photo to it. In other programs I know. I believe it can be done but I haven't used any other program so I can't really say. If you like it please don't forget to leave me some love in comments.

I'm back!

So I know I went MIA again. My computer crashed. Poor thing was dropped way too many times and umm ya my baby puked on it from across the room. So after cleaning it off and trying to start it, it still worked! We were amazed. But then Tyler knocked it over and the laptop took it's last a fatal fall to the floor. It's now in 2 pieces.

So there I was without a usable computer! No scrapping! No chatting! No gaming! I was lost!!! So almost immediately DH bought me a new laptop! I love him! So yesterday I received my new Dell Studio 17 with upgraded 17" wLED monitor!! Yay me. And now I'm back. Can't wait to start scrapping and designing again. But you can be sure I'll be around more often.

Scrap Matters Design Contest

Sorry I've been MIA. I've been trying to complete my entry into my first ever design contest. You can view all the entries (and download each mini kit freebie) HERE There are more than 100 contestants who will all make a mini kit (3 papers and 3 elements)! So this is just like a huge collab! It's all based on a beautiful color scheme that you're sure to love.

Having participated in this contest has made me try harder and learn many more new techniques that I hope will prepare me to design more beautiful kits for you all. So bare with me while I go through my learning stages because I hope to one day be a good designer!

I want to start by apologizing for being MIA this past week. Tyler was very sick with a fever of 104 for 3 days and then a bad rash for 3 days (which we found out was all roseola). He's better now though and back to being a rambunctious little baby boy.

On to the good stuff. I have a new kit for you. It's called Urban Camouflage! I'm really happy with it and hope you all like it to!

Well I have been in tutorial heaven lol. I'm doing my best to learn as many new techniques as I can so that I can make you all a new freebie! I've already started on it but I'm not giving out any hints yet.

On a sadder note; my baby boy Tyler is sick. He's had a fever now for almost 3 full days and it stays between 102 and 104 even with Tylenol and Motrin. I'm taking him back to the doctors tomorrow if it does not break by the morning. He's been so sucky. We can't put him down at all and he won't play or eat. He's just been drinking a little water and sometimes milk. I feel so bad for him. I hope he feels better soon.

Sweet Purple Breeze Freebie

I gotta tell you I am so nervous about posting my first kit. It's not much but I'm pretty proud of it. Everything except the twine was made by me from scratch (and some tutorials I tweaked to fit my style). I hope someone can make good use of it. I'd love to see what you come up with! So please leave your comments and or links to any LO you make using my kit.

I can't wait to start on my next freebie! I think I want to focus on a boy themed kit. Guess you'll have to wait and see what I come up with.

I am trying to make my first ever freebie kit. I have never made anything before and am completely new to this designing thing but I am giving it a try! If you want a sneak peak look up at my header ;) The alpha you see there will be included in my kit which I've named Sweet Purple Breeze. So far I only have 4 papers and an alpha lol so it's a work in progress. I hope to release it as a freebie next week though so keep your eyes peeled.

Well I'm figuring this blog thing out. With a lot of help from fellow bloggers I now have a functioning nice blog! Special thanks to Vero from the Scrapping Tree for letting me use her kit to design my background. I'm super excited. Oh and if you like what you see you should check out Vero's blog and check out her store. The kit I used is called "My Delilah" and it's so pretty. I suggest you all check it out!

So I guess this is it! The start of my very own blog. To start I hope to post digital scrapbooking layouts that I make here and maybe as I start to dabble in designing I will share it here too!

So I guess you want to know a little about me now? Well I'm Natalie SAHM to Cameron and Tyler and loving wife to Stuart (the most wonderful husband in the world!).

I've been digi scrapping for a little over a year now and I love it! I'm also part of a CT over at The Scrapping Tree (love her stuff!). I'm still learning all about this and it'll take me some time to figure out this blog thing lol I hope to update daily or as often as possible. Can't wait to get started!
